Foundation
Myofascial and Sports MassageTherapy
Certification Course

Welcome to our Myofascial Massage Foundation Course!

This course will teach you how to effectively release tension and pain in the myofascial and muscular tissues of the body, but first and foremost, this course is about movement.

This foundation myofascial course is based off of the anatomy of the equine myofascial kinetic lines, and how to systematically work with these lines to assist in balancing the equine musculoskeletal system.

This is a semi-private event. Please email Christy directly.

Movement is life!

Through the techniques and theory you will learn in this class, you will gain proficency at both restoring and optimizing balanced equine movement.

(And maybe gain some insights into your own movement as well!)

Get ready to learn both foundational myofascial massage techniques as well as new, cutting edge concepts and skills in the equine wellness movement to take your bodywork practice to the next level.

This 100 hour Foundation Course includes pre-learning material of anatomy and theory, then we will spend 5-6 days together in an immersive hands-on format. In the week long in-person course, we will be covering "feel", assessments, basic saddle fit, and myofascial massage techniques ,while going through functional anatomy muscle by muscle in accordance to the myofascial kinetic lines.

You will begin to pre learn theory and anatomy of the myofascial system in the convenience of your home, to become familiar with what will be covered in person. We will then go more in-depth on how to apply that knowledge in a systematic approach with our work with the horses for 5 days with an optional practice day.

Class sizes are kept small with a maximum of six students for a bespoke experience.

You will be learning from a PRACTICING  FEI Permitted Therapist with 20 years experience and education in the equine wellness industry. This will give you both techniques and unique, real life protocols that work on a variety of horses.

Our goal is for you to complete this course feeling fully confident in your ability to provide an

INTUITIVE, INTELLIGENT, & INTENTIONAL equine bodywork session that gets RESULTS.
